How can a teacher determine the equivalent of a Zone of Proximal Development for grit? (What degree of frustration can a student currently deal with?)
Is there a good ratio for success/failure similar to that of positive/negative feedback?
Is grit typically easier to learn/demonstrate for typical A students or for more average students? Or, "gifted" students? What other types of students might experience grit differently or need help developing grit differently?
Could grit be misconstrued by teachers/administrators as compliance? Should it be tightly connected to engagement or student selected goals?
Is it fair to bring grit into the conversation if students don't have choice in the curriculum? Isn't interest one of the four traits? (interest, practice, purpose, and hope)
